Just wanted to canvass the views of some of the members here.
I have a gen Rolly Datejust, which I bought maybe 10/12 years ago. My wife dropped it and smashed the crystal, so I've sent it to my modder to replace this (with a gen crystal of course!). I've asked him to service it at the same time - I didn't want to send it to Rolex as I hear they replace parts at their discretion.
My question is, the bracelet and case are full of desk dives, nothing major and look worse in pics (see below) than when on wrist. Would completely polishing these out devalue the watch or should I just do a light polish or maybe leave it alone?
