It would seem to me that at least a part of the problem is that the watch is just too big for his girlie wrist. That's why the strap gets to enjoy some unusual bending forces and starts to pop out. So getting a bigger wrist should (partly) solve the problem.
HA HA HA... Well , same problem here... My wrists are really small, but still it's impossible for me to get it to popup even with a fair amount of force applied.
The replica is quite good, probably not as good as the UPO due to the pearl beeing a insert that protudes from the bezel. Really easy to pry loose - so I superglued mine so it wouldn't come loose. The watch also started to sound wierd, so I removed the backside and removed the so called anti magnetic iron lid (really poor quality moving around). The lume is so so, the dial has poor lume, but the hands is superlumed  . Biggest downside with the bracelet is that already one of my two rubber rings that holds the part of the bracelet after the buckle has cracked straight through due to the force appliced when you remove the watch from the wrist, and the other one already has some cracks in one corner  .. I guess some OEM will do - but you will loose the "omega" and "seamaster" insignias in the rings in that case! Well, I guess this will be my working watch (beater).
