A "UPO Lite" has the same case, bezel and crystal as the UPO.

So if this is a UPO Lite, there should be a SN# on the seven o'clock lug.

Im sure this is the same model Narikaa sells which uses a mineral crystal.

I do like the pearl on yours BTW.

I thought a blueish/purple looking crystal at an angle means sapphire...is that incorrect?

Correct - That is incorrect.
The blueish or purpleish tint you see at some angles is the anti-reflective coating put on the crystal (of most any material) to reduce reflections/glare.
