Planet Ocean: VSF 39.5mm vs Noob LMPO?

Looking for a smaller PO to fit a smaller wrist (6.5in/17cm).

Trying to decide between the VSF 39.5mm or the Noob LMPO 1948 (v12?).

Does anyone have experience with both and suggestions as to which is a better watch?

As a side, i heard the LMPO wears bigger due to the bracelet end links being flared, but i can’t get a grasp on how much it flares out. I tried a gen 39.5mm PO and it fit perfectly, with the bracelet going straight down.

I haven’t had a 39.5mm PO but one thing to take into account is the thickness and if it wears too heavy.
A bracelet will balance it out but on strap a 39.5 might feel a little like a small hamburger

I’ve got a 42mm 2500 series older thinner PO and a LMPO and they both wear similar and wear really good on my 7” wrist

The 43.5 wears much bigger and clunky

Thank you.

Does the LMPO really have a flared bracelet end link? Ive heard some people say end link to end link measures something like 54mm, which is way to big for me. My only worry

Thanks

The LMPO V12, lug to lug, is 48.5mm. I just measured mine with calipers.

At the time of this pic, my wrist was exactly 7 inches.

In my humble opinion a PO with a diameter < 42mm would be a good fit only for smaller wrist (<6.7").
As mentioned before the thickness is a critical element. It shouldn't be > 13-13.5mm with that diameter.

I had the 43.5, 42 and currently own the 39.5 PO. Personally, the 39.5 is by far the best watch for a smaller wrist such as mine due to the modest lug to lug of under 45mm combined with female end links and the reduced thickness of just over 14mm. The 42 LMPO is a beauty, but the male endlinks do increase the L2L and it wears big for me.

That being said, I wear the PO’s exclusively on metal bracelet. If you plan to put it on a strap, that would probably make a bit of a difference.

Just one comment from my side:
I have received a UncleSeiko bracelet and fits the LMPO very well for my expectations .

I dislike too the standard Omega bracelet with male endlinks (for those with a wrist > 7" it wears totally fine) and I am unfortunately a bracelet guy who cannot even contemplate wearing a diver on rubber or leather.

Which Uncle Seiko bracelet did you put on the PO? Do you have any pictures?

Here's the PO (not LMPO, but same size) with an Uncle Seiko bracelet. And a few posts above is the Omega bracelet.

This is the Uncle Seiko US1171 with added end links to fit the PO.

This one is a beaut. The best of the Planet Ocean line if you ask me. I gotta find one from BP to buy.

I think they're the 20 mm brushed Omega US1035 Flat Link End Links on the Uncle Straps website. Couldn't say for sure, though, as the bracelet came with the watch when I bought it.

Totally agree. I've tried on all references available retail, and have a few of them. The 2201.50 is definitely my favourite.
