If you can do all your own high quality watch work the prices for enhancements such as these become much more reasonable. Most of us cannot do dial changes or lume jobs etc. There are threads with compitent watchsmiths not being able to do the UPO dials so these are not total no-brainers. Otherwise you have to add $100 to several hundred in labor. They want $150 just for a lume job, which is pretty much all labor.
