Hey,
Im looking to replace my orange planet ocean bezel with a black one.
Does anyone know if lan new shop dot com is trust worthy? They have the bezel in stock but Im a little weary of giving them my CC info with no reviews found on google.

Can you guys recommend somwhere that is trust worthy?

also looking for a tool kit in order to swat the bezel as well as change some straps, etc.

Thanks!

Are you looking for a gen or rep bezel?

What model you have? 42mm or 45.5mm?

Also never heard of that site, better stick with our trusted dealers as to avoid problems...

Case looks to be 42mm from 9 o'clock to outside of the crown lugs.
Bezel instert measures ~39mm outside diameter, ~31.5mm inside diameter.

Edit: looking or a rep bezel.

After doing some reading on this site, it seems some are putting gen parts on rep watches. I did not know that was possible. Can I get a gen black bezel on the watch pictured above? Needless to say, this is all new to me.

You are not needing to get the bezel but just the insert. The pic shown is of the 42mm PO, not the 45mm. Inserts can be found on ebay from wholesaleoutlet. The only thing about that is that the pearl is the shits. It is like a zit rather than a dimple. You need to carve it out carefully without removing all of the lume. I've done this about three times already, as I've either really banged up the insert, or simple lost the pearl and pearl cup altogether.

If you want an entire bezel, then you have to go gen. Ofre has them. They fit the v4 and v5's

It should be 42mm not 41mm. I got all three of my previous inserts from them. WO has several listings of the same item, so make sure you get the right one. THe listing details of the one I got actually referenced the genuine's watch reference number, so I felt confident purchasing it and getting the right one.

These inserts wont fit your watch.

The one you have is the bew ceramic model. There are no aftermarket inserts available on ebay yet.

The gen bezel costs 580$, I dont think you wanty to spend so much money on a bezel? Also none have confirmed that the swap is possible.

If i were you i would contact the dealer you got the watch from, adn ask for a rep bezel.

How hard is it to replace the insert? I just took the bezel off but the insert is pretty solid onto true bezel. Any good way to remove the old insert?

ahh I see. Already ordered that black bezel for the 42mm from wholesale outlet.
Doh! Maybe I'll get lucky...

I did not buy the watch from a dealer, just a local guy. It's really nice for what it is but just too small for my wrist. I like a 44-47mm case on my arm. Maybe I'll try to find someone local and trade it for a panerai rep. That's what I really want anyway.

Thanks!!

point me in the right direction for a decently priced gen black bezel and I'll give it a shot. Bought the watch today (from a friend), so worst comes to worst I'll try out a few different mods on this watch to learn and sell it after im done.
