May I ask how the GMT needle works? Is it 24-hr GMT? and is the GMT needle in line with 24-hr mark on its ceramic basel?

My QC pics are on the way! Does anybody know where would be the best place to source an Omega box for this piece?

So is it a new batch (not limited production then?)? Which TD if you don't mind telling.

I believe it is a new batch. I don't know that it was ever "limited" production. My understanding was that they an into some manufacturing anomalies with the bezel. I got mine from a dealer that is, for reasons unknown to me, no longer a TD here, but is over at the other place. His name is "Andrew", and i've bought close to twenty reps from him in the last year, with no issue whatsoever.

Price fixing was the issue with trusty.

As in the engraved bezel on the rep? That's not changing correct?

The bezel isn't engraved. It's two stage ceramic. They start with white, bake it, and then apply black and bake it again. Similar to the way Hermes does their enamel dials. Check this out for the process: https://kuaibao.qq.com/s/20190928A0CBJ000?refer=spider

I translated the page here: https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...anet-ocean-600m-tai-chi?p=8311337#post8311337

I suspect that the manufacturing anomalies stemmed from the difficulty with the stage 2 adhesion or color matching. VSF struggled with it in the beginning before finally nailing it so I suspect that when they ran out of the first batch they had to try to duplicate what they did and, as I said, that wasn't easy the first time so it probably wasn't easy the second time either.

What, lol? The counterfeit watch trade is a regulated industry?

Ha...There’s a thread on here somewhere about it.

From memory there was collusion with another non TD around trying to push prices up (increasing their cut) and trying to get other TDS to do the same. Before my time, but I’ve also used Andrew with no issues.
