Pickup at post office? Now what?

I just got info in my tracking - should I pick it up? I have heard people say don't claim packages, etc. Is that a customs thing only? My package cleared customs just fine but apparently it has to be picked up, maybe it needs to be signed for? Help!

Just pick up from post office. Customs won't charge you that way.

My regular packages just get left at the door, we are fairly remote so they usually leave things - I order things online constantly, this is the first thing that I have had to go and get in person.

Yes just pick it up or arrange redelivery. They may ask you one pound for processing costs at the PO, but that's about it. Redelivery is free.

If it were a customs issue then you would have gotten a customs letter stating something to that order,,,, if you just got a regular postal form stating that you have to go pick up the item its 'cuz you have to sign for it,, that all!!!!

Looks like it was sent EMS... which requires a signature... nothing to worry about...

how could you get in trouble for doing what they ask and going and picking it up????? someone sends you a package doesn't mean you necessarily even know anything about it. it's just that when they brought it there wasn't anybody to sign for it. if you have a bunch of maching gun carrying commandos jump out from behind mailboxes just say you don't even know anything about it....

that was a joke... if you were in trouble they would have handled it differently. just go pick up your watch. probably not a good idea to open it in the post office though.
