Hi all,

Big fan of these reps. Got a Batman and a Daytona already. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a Yachtmaster size to look for: 37, 40, or 42 (42 unlikely for my size. For what it's worth, I am 165cm, 48kg, and wrist is about 15.25-15.5 cm. I know someone on here did give a rec based on that, so hopefully I can get a rec for my size.

15.25-15.5cm you should go get the 37mm Unless you like big watches. And try to get the oysterflex not the bracelet it'll fit better.

Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

I think the 37 could be fantastic on you. It feels so nice to have a slightly smaller, less heavy watch in your collection in my view too. Go 37 ;)

What is the width of your wrist?

The 42mm has a lug-to-lug of 50.3mm, pretty sure the lugs would extend past the edge of your wrist with that one.

The 40mm has a lug-to-lug of 47mm, this is roughly the same as the Daytona. So if you already have a Daytona and are comfortable with its size, the 40mm could be a good option. I have both a 116 Daytona and a 40mm Yacht Master, and I actually feel the Yacht Master wears a tad smaller than the Daytona.

The 37mm has a lug-to-lug of 43.5mm and would for sure fit your wrist. It really depends on whether you’re comfortable with the size of the watches you already own, or if you’re looking for one that’s slightly smaller 😄

From my experience, the 37mm diameter will fit you best. Anything 36-39mm will be great for you.

Cheers and have a nice weekend.
