PhotoRoom AI Photo Editor is the name of the app. I've tried a bunch of photo apps but this one just blew me away. Shout out to @WatchSmith.US for sharing this with me. It's a bit pricey at $69.99 for a year subscription but you can get an unlimited free 7 day trial and cancel if it's not for you. I think I am hooked.

Of course you need to start with a good quality, clear pic but it's great at detecting the main object and cutting away the original background. Then the fun begins as you choose from the voluminous choices of cool backgrounds. I have seen that at least some are randomly generated, as I have gone back to get one I liked only to find it was no longer there but others like it were shown.

Anyway enough babbling check these beauties out. Enjoy!

Well I mean, this AI stuff is okay I guess… But heck, it’s nothing I couldn’t do in Photoshop, after a few days of reference photo hunting, purchases from expensive photo libraries, then hours and hours of tedious masking out and compositing…

(Slinks off, to have a little cry. And then buy the app.)

These are pretty bloody impressive K and WSUS.

I was checking out a thread the other day (on TRF I think) where a guy had used AI to design a bunch of watches. Fascinating.

lol, I guess you haven't used Photoshop in a while. Not to mention the addition of Firefly. Adobe has been ripping backgrounds out of photos for a few years without masking it out. Hell, my 70-year-old father-in-law takes photos on his phone and replaces the Sky in 2 clicks nowadays. The addition of Firefly (Adobe's Visual AI platform similar to Midjourney) is even more robust.

lol, I guess you can't tell when someone is joking. :)

I've used Photoshop pretty much daily since it was first released in the late 80s... I had my first exhibition of digital photo collages back in 1994.

But thanks for getting me up to speed on all these new fangled innovations. ;)
