I've got a Nikon D70 with an 18-200 VR lens, as well as an 85mm 1.8. I also have an SB800, and I just got my first remote control for the camera. I also just installed the D200 magnifiying eyepiece. For being an "old" camera, I absolutely love it!!!

Wow, old thread. Weird that I never noticed it!

I have pretty much the same setup except I have the D80, and I have the 50mm 1.8. I got a battery grip for it, too, which makes it feel a lot easier to handle when the SB800 is on it.

What's the D200 eyepiece?

Yeah a circular polarizing filter is a must have if you shoot a lot of nature shots. The times you need it, you really need it. I also have some Cokin ND grad filters which are fun to use.

btw, in case Dukie ever wanders into this thread again, the 18-200VR is a GREAT lens for travelling w/. It covers most situations that you'll encounter while travelling. A good fast lens might be helpful for dark museums and the such, but most other stuff, the 18-200 is a good choice.

Got a Canon 30D, with an EFS 18-55 (rarely used) an EF 28-105 (regular beater) an EF 75-300 (never used anymore) and an EF 70-200L IS (the reason for not using the 75-300). Haven't really been shooting my watches with it, but I guess I'll start now. ;-)

I am Pentax fan and have several DSLRs incl. my favorite, the K20D. Also have a nice selection of lenses, some older manual focus ones from the 70s and 80s. Haven't posted any pictures yet, but I will sooner or later.

I was in commercial photography (did architectural work) and magazine publishing for fifteen years. Have always used Nikon gear, had used D1, D70, and D100 extensively before I sold the company and went back to school. Bought myself a D50 after selling the company off. It is an excellent gun, equals or betters any of the three above (just a little slower frame repeat). Don't know much about the newer D40 etc, but bang for the buck the D50 was the best buy I ever made....

I use a 3.4 megapixel nikon 995

It has two attachment lenses, a telephoto and a fish eye

And I bet it takes better pictures than half the 6+ megapixel cameras out there. I have had this camera for years and it still takes super high quality photos after all the abuse I have given it!

I have been in the field for many moons. My collection is extensive. I prefer real film however occasionally u have an ass hole that thinks digital is the way to go.
From Wittman conversion Land cameras to a Red Camera dragon helicopter set up. My assistants would rather I shoot on my iPhone than load Pentax medium formats all day. I'm not an ass like some, so I try to make their jobs easier. Maybe they can concentrate on having fun!

I use a GoPro and a selfie stick to let my watches photograph themselves.
