I was buying a coffee in an affluent part of Sydney yesterday. I notice a guy come in wearing a very nice watch.

It was about the size of an IWC BP. but it wasnt.

I tried REALLY hard to see what the bloody thing was, but could not

Now, if its THIS hard for me to see what it was, how hard would it be to see if the Rolex GMTiic I was wearing was real or fake!!!

This is the point everyone makes. But my problem is, I am so damn picky. I can see the flaws everyday before i wear it, so I will want to mod it and waste my money !! Isn't that the point of this whole forum !!! LOL

Yes, but that might be "Canadian formula" HP, just like how Canadian Cadbury's chocolate tastes very different from the stuff sold in the UK, or the Australian-made candy.

For the record, I'd like to say that Canadian Cadbury is my favorite. Those massive UK bars make for great blunt weaponry, though.

Candy is an American term like soda or pop that is not used here.
Therefore we have chocolate bars, not candy bars.
Chocolate is either just plain chocolate or chocy for short.

HP is just thick Winchester sauce and A1 is liquid heaven.

To swing back on topic for a moment, I don't wear my watches for others, I do it for myself. The reason I like accurate reps and modding ny waches to be as near gen as possible is because of the satisfaction I get from it, not for fear of being called out. If asked I always say they are replicas anyway.
