Holy Crap where did the year go??? And holy crap how many watches did I build??? 2014 was a busy year for me, building away like a little elf at Christmas while packages flew in with parts from members and TDs all around the world. My favorite parts came from Italy. Not going to lie...

I also learned ton about watchmaking and modding. And I can almost consider myself a half-way decent hobbyist...
fitting new tubes

Putting a nice Pre-V Shape on a case!!!

Flattening CPs and CG Pins

Staking gen hands to fit Asian movements (yikes)

Gold plating hour wheels (my favorite)

Timing movements within COSC Standards (one position, LOL)

Helping out members who need some help to get their watches back on their wrists...

And most important, understanding my limitations and knowing when to defer to a Master (Thanks to Necky and Marlin)

But there's still a ton to learn.

NOW.... on to the builds.

First up the Franken PAM010A http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=178938

The Franken PAM252I North Pole Mike Horn Expedition Watch http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=187372

The Franken PAM243X LaBomba http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=190686

My first vintage and most challenging build The 6152/1 Radiomir http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=199341

The Franken PAM086D http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=200328

The Southy 202/A TRUE matching http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=201671

The Franken PAM001C http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=204347

And a few others that are "done"... but not truly complete until later this year;)

Thanks to Ale for running this great little corner of the web for true enthusiasts of a great brand.

WAY more to come!!!

Just... Wow! 243X and Mike Horn Arctos simply look stunning. I'm sure it takes a lot of dedication and patience to do all this. Congratulations, Grim!

Thank you Grim, I enjoyed and remember all the great builds you posted this year, and I still loose my breath every time I see your La Bomba
Your knowledge and passion for pre-Vs has spread during the year and hit me as well, good job mate! :)
