Just like I said on RG, forget the new version of the movement being offered from the new maker... They are both wrong, I might as well be $200 less wrong.
As as far as your comments on the hands. What you are seeing is lume overflow. You'd be surprised how many genuine Panerai hands will show this when viewed from a low angle. Also important to note is the sharpness of the tips. Most rep hands have rounded, blunted tips. These are very well executed for rep hands.
Finally the CP... I wasn't sure at first, but you are totally right. The CP is smaller. But not by much!!!

It depends on your taste mate, both will fit and look good. The rep is 26 imo, but I did not measure it, the strap I ordered for it is 27 instead

Thanks Grim, if it's lume then could it be cleaned in your opinion?
ABSOLUTELY!!! What you see here is lume, not poor hand finish. It is quite literally "lume overflow". If this were my watch, I would remove the hands and rub a toothpick along the edge to scrape off the excess lume without hurting the hands. then you could flip the hand over and very carefully scrape off the lume close the edge.
Ale I think you mention poor finish in the PAM guide. Perhaps we should update that? This is really lume related and I can guarantee you will find some perfect hands and some hands with overflow. It is a QC issue, I don't believe it to be a consistent flaw that would be seen on every watch. Even genuine PAMs show this from time to time.

Never mind Ale, In your PAM448 listing, when I read "hands are not as clean and sharp as gen" I thought maybe you were referring to the problem seen above. Maybe you were referring to the tips?

Maybe "Clean" is not the appropriate word.
In Spanish Clean can be equivalent to : Clear, defined, precise, sharp....
I was meaning the gen hands were more defined, better finished and sharper

No Ale, the word is correct!!! After viewing these pics I though you might be referring to the edges and the sharpness of the tips.

Yes a V1, but @ $228 worth it
imho a bargain!
I thought it would be a V1 movement as well, BUT... It appears to be a V3. Ale here's my QC pic! Is it allowed? Hahahaha!

In all seriousness, I was really surprised to see the V3 in my QC pics. This is an amazing deal from Toro at 253 including EMS shipping.
I thought the one on crazy sale would have been the clone3 but confirmation was needed, good news for everybody!
Such lume overflow is EXTREMELY RARE on modern PAMs, yet it's quite common on older PAMs.
BTW this is one of the easiest ways to spot a rep PAM, regardless of the model, rep factories still haven't figured out how to sharply cut hands without lume overflowing all over, and this is quite obvious on Historic Luminors where the hands are matte black...
