Thx for taking the time to post your pic´s ... the watch looks great and I also love wearing mine.

One thing though ... you refer the PAM087 to the name "La bomba" ... but that was the nick name of the PAM064, "tuna can" was another name given.

Dr. Theo

After some research I wrote in my PAM 087 review and PAM GUIDE :

The original "La Bomba" was indeed the PAM 064.
PAM 087 was released as a successor of PAM 064 and people called it the " Blue La Bomba" or the "tuna can"
Therefore you both are right !

Hi,

Thanks.

Many strap makers can make them but they all have different colour canvas. Micah, Bosphorus and Greg Stevens come to mind..

Normally not a fan of subs, mainly because of how busy and bulky they look. However I made an exception for the arktos and now this thanks to the unique dial and colors.

Say, local dealer here offers one of these for around 450 USD including box (nice) and fake papers (I personally wouldn't bother with). Overpriced or jump on it?

It's really up to you. If it is of the same quality as the ones from our TDs, if you factor in shipping, there's not much difference in cost (but the wait will be cut down considerably).

If possible I'd rather buy from TD, unfortunately the possibility of the reps passing customs here is 0. Yes you can still claim it, but that requires significant bribe, oh well...at least I get a free box (yay) and, uh, a panerai branded screwdriver? (what the hell).

All I can do is wait for our current president's term to end and hope the next one changes the customs policy.

Well we gotta work with what we're given I guess. ;)

Guys, I am looking canvas strap for my Pam 087. Dark yellow, banana or something like that.
I found some dealers but they are too expensive for me. (around min. 100-120 USD)

If someone wants to sell or suggest a seller, it' ll be very much appreciated.

Hi Guys. I keep returning to the 087... but am unsure if it is a bit small. Normally I wear 187, 382 and 341...Do have a DSSD but Think it is a bit tiny on my wrist. So question is how the 087 compare to the DSSD - if mounted on a fat strap?
