Every little helps. When they see what you have gathered they will know you are not a scammer.
Agreed. Get all your ducks in a row to respond to PP.

I smelled a rat when he filed a complaint 12 days after I marked it sent, saying it hadn't been received. That was over the Christmas break too. Very unrealistic expectations.

Aus to France is 2 weeks minimum - easily 4 weeks over the Christmas period.

Some people were commenting that the timing seemed suspicious, but one scenario that occurred to me is this: we all check tracking obsessively, right? So why wouldn't this guy? And having seen that the tracking said it was delivered, but he never received anything... he would be suspicious, and so would we.

@Nivka Hope you can get something out of the destination postal service about the signature/delivery confirmation!

Thanks to everyone for their advice, which helped common sense prevail

I'm glad it worked out for you! What was the resolution -- the buyer realized they'd gotten the package?

"The buyer reports the claim has been amicably resolved" is all I know as per the Pp sent the email last night. I guess the guy saw all the evidence I presented and realised his case was hopeless.

...or maybe he found out the package arrived and was signed for by another individual?
