Oh, and the SW 5712 dial is nice, but the lume plot on the 6 o’clock hour marker is very wrong. It should be replaced if you wanna use that dial.

Rep to the left / gen to the right

SW lume plot is cut at an angle, should be a rectangle like gen. Very easy spot on a otherwise nice dial

I’d like to add that for the 5712 regulator arm can be hidden (movement looks free-sprung) on the PPF and laser engraved movement done that is “stable”

Dial: best option would be the custom 5712 dial by HillBilly, the latest SW dial is a very close second

HI Care to share a bit more about HillBilly dial? Where does he source his from? Which factory? or it is truly only made by him? He never seems to reply to messages just like SpongeBob

I contacted him regarding orders AP15202 and PP5712.
I wrote to him on Telegram and sent him a personal message here,
but the most I could get in response was: "I'll look into it," after a long time, and nothing more.

I tried and failed on several occasions to place an order with him but he finally accepted my order and sent me his PayPal details.

I’m sure he’s a very busy guy, so I would just be patient and keep on messaging him

It's almost as though THEY are doing us a favor by getting our business! NONE reply. Especially Hillbilly he's notorious followed by Xing and then SpongeBob.

Blame noobs and blame time wasters. He probably gets hundreds of messages a day about people consulting to build a watch before ditching. He's built many watches for many members and sourced many parts my friend.

He's not a chit chatty guy and is swarmed with work. If you see some of his stuff he's pushing a build or more a day. You either commission a build and pay within the day or don't. My last build I literally pulled the specs I wanted, he corrected one thing, i paid, month later I had the watch.

Spongebob and Hillbilly are not forum backed - so whatever they do is not my problem. But Spongebob is under fire right now for not responding and having modding times take up to a year. Hillbilly is notorious to overcharge clients, he doesn't cater to you and me, he caters to superrich whales who can drop $20k on a watch.

Immaterial. I have not said a word about his integrity or about his craftsmanship. I am not here to chit chat either with Xing. I am here to purchase a serious watch which commands serious money. How am I wasting his time??? None of the sellers know if someone is there to waste time or genuine customer, thats all part of the service you should offer. If he is too busy he should just put out a notice that he is not taking orders. It is ubiquitous, that he will reply with one word and then never reply back. What kind of customer service is this?? Same goes for other guys... I am not saying this about Xing particularly.,. I also dont know him, I am talking about the main modders these days.

Tell me their contribution to the community? How did I slander him. I have said the facts as they are... I am sure he is a very nice guy. We are not here to talk about how nice he is... Good luck in your hunt with someone you will be happy with. Modders who do good work are a rare beast.

I'm not looking for a fight, just state my opinions.
