I haven't seen much on this watch around here so I thought I'd share some pictures of my PP 5127 rep and give it some love.
I picked it up simply to have that perfect classy watch to wear with a nice suit. So, for me, I may end up wearing this like 1-2 times a year.
For comparison, this is a pic of the gen 5127:
The biggest flaw right off the bat is the date window is wrong. For me, I just flat out love the style and it's not a big deal for me. (Who is really going be that familiar with a $20k watch that most people don't recognize?)
The leather band it also incorrect. As is the branding on the clasp, it's on the wrong side.
But, IMO, this is a fantastic looking watch... It is a 21j movement. Of the 21j's I have, this one is ridiculously smooth and quiet. It's doesn't have that cheap rotor sound to it like my other 21j's.
