After having a crappy watch, which i didn't enjoy, to then having no watch for 5 years (long live the iphone clock!) i decided to go ahead and get a watch, that i would REALLY enjoy!

I spent a lot of time asking around where and what to do when it came to purchase, and finally i choose Perfect Clones, since they did transshipping, because here in Denmark, it ain't easy getting ANY replica goods what so ever through customs, and you even risk getting sued by the original producer.

Ordered January 16, arrived here today January 28 (it sat with the Danish postal service for 3 days over the weekend)

i must say, that this is a terrifying good replica! Only thing i have found to be not like the real deal, is on the 6 o'clock position on the dial. No SWISS MADE as seen here

The only thing i found odd about it, is that the rubber has a slight smell of something like hobby clay or Industrial plasticine. I'm hopping this will go away soon, or else i might need to get a replacement strap.
Can anyone recommend a good quality replica strap for the Aquanaut?

I can't recommend any straps but I just wanted to say that's a great looking watch :cheers:. I find most of my rubber rep straps smell like vanilla.

Hah it could also be some vanilla like smell.
I've tried washing the strap without luck. Now i've put some if the excess strap in water and soap to let it soaker. I'm hoping this will do the job.

Last resort must to be getting a geniune one from Strapdaddy, but if anyone can recommend a replica strap sold separate, that doesn't smell, i'm all ears!

If i don't recall wrongly, there are some batches of gen Aquanaut that do not have the "Swiss Made" wordings as well.

Here's a Macro of the Dial. I don't really have a good macro lens, so the 24-105mm has to do the trick

The dial is perfectly clean, its just the sapphire crystal that has some smudge and dust on the outside

i just used a sharp Globan Knife and a cutting board. No slicing, just even pressure and away we go!

Yes, the movement is nothing like the real deal, but the "visible" part of the rep is very close to the real deal!
Can't wait to get my gen strap for this!

Why do you need a gen strap for it? Isn't the rep rubber as good as gen?
