The difference in the thinness/thickness between the AP 15450 and the PP 3800 is amazing. These watches are meant to be thin and PP 3800 wins hands down.
If you haven't already, I suggest you have a look at the AP 15202 version from the DC factory. It's a bargain just like the PP 3800.

I had the 15202 before but while it is really thin, it's too big for me. I prefer the 15450.

The 15202 bracelet left the dreaded big gaps in my wrist (that's removing all links):

On the wrist it doesn't look terrible but to me it's definitely not looking good. While the 15450, in the second photo, looks way better, more natural in my small wrist.

Seems like there is a white with diamond markers around, but I have only seen the blue one at Toro Bravo's. You can always ask a few TDs and see if anyone has other than blue.

Is it possible to open the case back? Or is it sealed with the case?
just in case if we need to remove the movement to fix something, how do we do it?

I guess you can, with a normal sticky ball. Actually, I wouldn't mind greasing the gaskets on the back and crown, just in case. I haven't tried but I don't think there should be any problem, Stuvetjee , have you opened the case back of yours?

Ah! I guess they mean unscrewing the front of the case with the two screws on the sides? Interesting, might give it a go this afternoon.

I don’t understand, if the case back is sealed into the case as one piece, we won’t be able to open it.
then how do we remove the movement from the front with the winder stuck in place? Stem release button is behind.

Would you mind if I ask you two quick questions sir? Hinclimincli
1. Among the three variants offered by TDs (white, blue and something else, all without diamonds), which one is the most genlike in your opinion?
2. Is the strap of decent quality? Is it smooth?

Thanks in advance.

I can only see the blue dial in the shops, and it's not quite gen-like as it has a lot of green hue which the genuine doesn't have. The bracelet is fine, very slim and soft, although I left mine overnight in a WD40 bath to clean it and smooth it out. But it wasn't rattly at all.

Now on the gen like stuff, the odds of stumbling onto someone with a gen Nautilus 3800 are less than being run over by a car, so I don't think you should worry.

Thanks mate, I just discovered it over the weekend. The only way I could open it is by unscrewing the screws in the "ears". How are we supposed to take the stem off, then? Not that I'm worried, tbh, I think it's perfect as it is.

I think the stem has the same construction than watches that were frontloaders back then. Its a very hard pull on the crown which detaches itself from the stem. Not sure though, its a guess

OMG I am most definitely not going to try that, hahaha. I can see myself with a broken crown in one hand and a broken watch in the other!
