There was never any hint of that happening, only thing people said that was close to a cheaper version coming out is hopes and wishes. Just getting this complicated of a cloned movement was crazy enough.

If there is enough demand they will make it. We now have a AP flyback chronometer. Which no one was asking for, but we got it and everyone is buying it up.

Flyback chronometer is more complicated. Even the Daytona has the same number of parts. There is enough demand. But we need to make it heard by dealers.

There is news of a cheaper minute repeater in the works for 2025. (Keep in mind this is a caliber that Mr. Stern himself listens to and approves on an individual basis. ) No one asked or even expected this. But here we are with $1.5 million reps.

But no 5740 perpetual calendar is a disgrace on our very existence.

I would even be open to a minimum unit pre-order purchase if everyone on this forum and Reddit got on board. I would say even 3000 units woundnt be an issue.
