Thought I'd start taking up my old photography hobby, not the very best pics at the moment, but I hope I'll improve and come back to the old me soon enough
Since there are loads of stunning pics of our beloved reps, I thought I'd post some pics of my collection of cheap gens, although they are almost reps in being so close to their more expensive counterparts such as IWC, Rolex etc.
This is a Parnis Chronometer, black dial. It's an automatic powered by a Seagull 2542. Diameter 43 mm, mineral crystal. Comes with a leather strap with deployment clasp. Not the best quality of the strap, but ok to me. The watch though, is a stunner. Comes with a white dial as well, and I'm planning to picking that one up too. Movement is quite noisy, so either I'll try to oil the rotor bearing or just take the rotor off and use the watch as a hand-wind. I love this watch, and for a price of 95 USD I think it's a bargain.
I understand that maybe Parnis isn't your thing, but I kind of like their watches. Cheap enough to use as daily beaters. Here are a couple of pics!
Beautiful dial, numbers and hands are in silver colour although that's maybe not showing here:
Really love the detailed parts of this dial. Here's a full working power reserve.
Numbers and dial text is also really good looking, especially for a watch at this price level:
Thanks for watching!!
