i ordered a 177L from Lay back in march with some other watches, but the 177L was out of stock. So I guess he will be sending a 177M to me soon :excited:

I read this thread and then noted the dates in the earlier posting... is it safe to say that the situation has changed and the current batch of 177s, 026s, etc are of a consistent and decent (read as good) quality?
I would really like to know this as well as I just ordered a 177M and am worried now that the quality of the case is going to suck!

No need to worry...this post is 2 years old! The 177 (L & M from the Hublot factory are amazing!)

also all guys must know 177-176-005-318-219-26K-288-212 all from same factory. I living at China. I know this factory very well.
you must know not only case and plating. also glass is very important. sapphire glass is not only one degree. swiss standarts glass must be non-finger print. and not easy dirty. but they all replica pams (including latest versions) glass easy dirty.
and Titanium also not only one degree.
hmm PVD or IP GUN or DLC necessary latest finish after than plating for non-finger print. if you said swiss quality for one watch case must not easy dirty.

please believe with me there not any real pvd or real DLC plated on pam replicas.
available on some brands replicas but not yet on pams.
I have a material like eraser it's PVD and DLC tester. I try with this tester all is just normal plating. no have swiss standarts pvd.
also I have genuine U BOAT pvd but I check it its also not real PVD.
(ok may be real PVD but not as my want quality)

PVD possible with expansion of substance before than deposition.
best kind is AlTiN PVD for pams.
plating thickness must be min.2 max.5 microns
hardness must be 3300 Hv
Coating temparature must be 300-500
Thermal Oxidation temp. 800-900
last two topic so important ( for best expansion of substance for best deposition)
note: if you want to see PVD tester I can take picture for you

Agreed! I recently acquired a PAM177, it is simply amazing! I hold it against GEN pics, even with reviews showing the spots I should be looking at, I see no difference...and the quality is just...too good to be true for $2XX
