Panerai Luminor Sub 1950 - Black Rose Gold - PAM00684

Hey All,

Been seeing this vs the similar black/rose gold yacht-master and I think I prefer this PAM00684 model. Does anyone know which TD has a great version of this PAM? Anyone bought one?

I bought one recently.It’s a beautiful watch.I have 6.25/.50 wrist and i think it looks quite good.I guess you can find on any TD website.More than TDs it’s more important which maker you are gonna choose.At the moment we have two choices which are XF and ZF.I’ve got the ZF one because of well adapted straps and the dial but well about the movement i wasn’t that lucky.I have a free spining rotor , wrinkles on the rotor which was not obvious in qc images.Should i have bought the XF version? Yes probably but it’s too late now.Somebody wrote little more detail about the case,crown guard and the caseback but i don’t remember where i’ve read that.Hope that helps.

I got one (don't know the maker got it M2M) and I'm very happy, always get many compliments. It's a watch I wear once in a few weeks as the big rose gold case is a bit too blingy so keep that in mind..

Thanks for the feedback/comments guys. I've done some more research on 3 of watch forum sites on all the threads with pam684. It seems like there are only two factories doing them...xf zf? But no one seems to know the difference between the two?? Anyone have insight into the difference between the two? Also looks like there was an updated version made V2. And also something called a "light" version? Whats light version?

You are welcome.Lite versions are the cheaper ones with Asian23j movement.I’m no movement expert but these versions are made with “less love”.In your case it’s just 20$ cheaper so i would say not worth.

Hi Scott,

This is rep world my friend.You never know what is going to break next. Every model / maker has flaws which you can live with some and some not.If you have a TD ask them.May be they will help.If not? Pray and make a pick.
