Hi guys in other forum that im a member we got photos of the brand new releases. .. and one of them was the highly expected panerai 587...

What do u think?

Clone p9000... looks great

Engravings on the dial are too yellow and too bold, lume on the hands seems off, Case could be wrong (case of the 372 used? Lugs are wrong).
But we'll have to wait for better pics.

Lugs better than expected but off nevertheless; Lume on hands is OK. Engravings on the movement are bad... and wrong colour...

dial engraving is remarkable too much. movement looks like v.1
I hope v.2 like a pam424 which more accuracy, better engraving.

We could say it is a new P.3000 Clone4

Maker has introduces a more accurate size , placement and colour of the decoration "jewels" on CAL. P.3000 bridge.The rest of the movement remains the same. This new improvement doesn't mean a perfect and completely accurate "jewels" decoration, but it gets a real improvement in relation to Clone3. See below pic.


I'm preparing (from yesterday) a comparison thread between Clone1-2-3- and 4. To be published in some hours

Why would they do this, looks a step in the wrong direction IMHO - at this point, i dont think we are happy with the decorated 6497 showing up in our watches are we?

Rbh I'm perfectly fine with the decorated 6497 on my noib 372, I would not mind the same movement in this even though the clone4 is obviously more accurate.
I am more concerned by the color of inscriptions and the crown/crown tube.

exactly my point - the dial inscriptions of the 587 rep seem to be totally off - at least if i compare the rep pictures with the original. Has anyone seen a side by side comparison?

Putting the clone movement in the 587 is nice to have - but fixing the watch face to match the original as closely as possible is no.1 priority!

Hope they fix it soon as the 587 seems to be extremely popular and the original is just so much out of my budget....

does anyone know if there is a version of the 587 with better dial coming by any maker? or could the dial be swapped for a better one?

i really like the 587 but the pictures of the rep i have seen so far just look a bit to much off (very thick & yellow dial inscription)
