These are actual watches I have the opportunity to see in person. Ignoring the lighting, you can see one is matte and the other is glossy.

Can you confirm that indeed they are both KW ? !00% sure? Post up some better pics so we can get a better conclusion that both watches aren't mistaken for the same maker. Not saying i am disregarding your judgment. But you never know.

If they were indeed taken in the same light then why are the lumes different on the 12 marker? One is lighter than the other??????

If they are KW then I would say one watch was from an earlier batch. If i remember right my buddies 305 and 389 are glossy. So yes Glossy should be the correct lume.

Good Luck & God Bless

Hi,

they are definitely from KW for sure. And I think you are right. The one with Glossy lume was delivered a few weeks later than the matte one. Let me try and see if I can get to "meet" again and I'll post some shots.

Just checking to see if most of the watches received so far are lumed flat (number 12 & 6)? Or does anyone have numbers lumed thick like sausages as per gen?

Sorry but I realized I wasn't clear enough. I meant to say if they are "raised" as per gen photos

Yes they are raised like the gen. BTW Sausage lume is raised being that it is "layed" down on the dial

So I know I saw a thread on how to remove the rotor on a seagull movement to oil the rotor bearing. Can anyone find the link. I can not. Or maybe help post some pics so i don't mess it up.

2nd purchase of this 571. I received my new Pam571 from Sead. Pearl looks more Gen Like on this example. Not sure if it's a batch thing or newer version. Crown guard lever is much better as well. Enjoy!!!!

Next Order will be a Pam382! I will be extremely picky to only get the best available version to date.

Enjoy these.

Mad scientist day. No more faux b.s. The seagull movement is put together very well. Found one gear that was a bit loose. Tightened it up and boom. Oiled the bearing. Didn't make much difference in noise auto winding. But let's see what happens

So the balance wheel stopped working today. Took it apart and noticed it detached from the spring. I oiled up watch the day before because I kept noticing the watch would just stop at 3:30-4:30am every morning for the past week. Well sure enough it died. Lol. The rest of the watch is solid but the only flaw is the balance wheel. Somehow it got Loose and flimsy. Watch lasted me 4 months. My previous 571 lasted me 8 and then I sold it and the guy I sold it to still wears it and has had zero issues. So again this is hit or miss.

Sorry to hear. After a ton of recent PAM reps I'm accepting of the fact that "you win some and lose some" with these. However, I'm not too fond of the Seagull ST2555. Not that the A7750 is much better but I'm beginning to have a better appreciation for hand wound 6497's.

I need to seek the expertise of the members here. I had recieved the QC pics today. I am puzzled why the hardcopy printout of the timegraph info does not tally. The amp and the rate including the time of timegraph taken does not tally! I have written to them asking why. Waiting for their reply. Also, would you guys be able to see if this watch is ok?

@ALE7575 @PAM1983 any expert advice?

Are you questioning why the photo of the timegrapher machine does not match the paper report?

Maybe the photo of the timegrapher was taken while making the measurement? Because it is normal that the values change as the test is run.

It does not explain why the time does not tally. The time of the print out is 10:16:39. The timegrapher shows 14:26:30, too far for either 10AM or 10PM.

Yes that right. I'm puzzled the time displayed on the timegrapher machine differed from the print out. Is nearly 4 hours difference....
