I am trying DESPERATELY to get this as a gen box set, but Panerai Hong Kong says there are so many calls for it already I am unlikely to get it after all...
The font is interesting on the Black Seal -- are there any examples of the serifs being used on other dials? I can't think of any ...
Good eye -- a bit too subtle for me to notice. I've also seen some Mare Nostrums with seriffing, but nothing as pronounced as this new offering.

This caseset has proved a nightmare to rep, it is noticeably thinner than the previous case and it isn't easy to do that with the 6497. Unfortunately, bew Luminor reps will be like AP reps thickness wise...
The only thing that piques my interest is that strap. I want it! Is it a new strap by OP? I've never seen it before.

Yeah, new strap with a sewn in MX buckle.
I also tried to inquire about the gen set at an AD and a boutique, and both basically said no way, the deep-pocketed Risti and the serial flippers are already on this set all over the world

Supposedly Puretime is working with a maker making the correct case for thinner Luminors fitted with P.5000
