In short the mods I had to do to swap the clone movement to a a6497 -

Source movement - £30 (eBay)
Remove old movement, Dial and Hands
Place new movement in watch
Remove dial feet as they would not fit into the 6497
Affix dial to movement using glue dots
Fit second hand
Broach existing hands to make hole bigger to fit on the 6497 hour wheel and cannon pinion.
Put a slight rise in the hands so that it misses the seconds hand ( the old hour wheel/CP must have been slightly higher) but not really noticeable.
Refit bezel and plexi

Total cost £45 - £30 new movement - £15 for broaching set

Well done mate!
Did you move the decorated parts from the old movement, if any?
I see that there are new movements with proper swan neck out there, but missing the decorated bridges and PAM specific treats.

No not possible as completely different movements, it was a p3000 clone that I took out. Bridges and platers won't fit in-between them .
