So the question now is who makes the best 531?

This is the million dollars question

I have not made a complete review, not even a little one but I have made some observations

CASE-SET- I know the caseset of KW PAM 359 and it is almost perfect. ZFac is almost the same and I think SF is almost at the same level. In this regards three reps are very similar. I would lean toward KW since its PAM 359 is very known and with a consistent overall quality

CANNON PINION:
KW CP- seems accurate, similar to gen and finish has quality enough
ZFac CP- is the typical ZFac with polished center and a raised rim contour of the minute hand around
SF CP- is the weird CP that we alrady know from Noob PAM 364. Similar to ZFac CP but having a weird recessed contour around the CP.
Therefore KW has the best approach to the gen CP

MOVEMENT:
KW is the A 7750 P.9003 decorated with false PR indicator and inverted layout
ZFac is the new A7750 decorated ZP9003-V2 with false PR indicator and non inverted layout with reduced balance cock (pending of seeing reliability). The false balance cosk decoration is completely different to gen and the "hole" and bridge contour of the balance wheel are very different from gen. The only advantage is the non inverted layout, but teh inaccuracy continues being evident.
SF is a new movement A7750 decorated P.9003 with PR indicator, with inverted layout but curiously the inscriptions and false jewels are placed in the same way at the gen, but, therefore, in completely different position in relation to the bridges, since the overall layout is inverted. I think this is another way to confront the matter, and sometimes it seems weird in this movement. The inscriptions are not sharp, are a bit bolder and the colour is a blue lighter than gen. The shape of decoration bridges leaves a “hole” for the balance wheel bigger than KW and much bigger than ZFac, therefore closer to gen. Decoration bridge of the balance cock is more accurate than KW and much more than ZFac. The finish of this movement is not as good as KW.
Three movements have pros and cons it is difficult to say which would be better. It is a taste matter.

LUME:
SF- has uniform lume markers-hands but colour is a bit lighter than gen and has no the vintage character
ZFac- the same as in PAM 382 has uneven colour of lume and hands are lighter than markers
KW- has correct vintage ecru colour and is the same for hands and markers

Up to you...

LOL, this mini review is obviously biased toward the KW... which it should be. Short of the ZFac movement, that by all accounts is just as un-gen like as the KW in reality, the KW hands down wins as of right now. So much so that I just ordered one... and I can't wait to rock it!

As always Ale, your guidance is invaluable, A+!

No problem my friend, though I do stand corrected. Biased was an improper choice of word and leaned was a much better descriptive of Ale's take on this watch.

That however is exactly why I gave Ale props in the fist place... His take on all things Pam's is about as unbiased and objective as they come. In every review he writes and comment he makes, he is open minded yet reserved until he has all the facts. It is for this very reason that I trust his judgment and that of the small group of pam-heads that offer the same level of professionalism and honesty in their impartation of their wisdom.

Any owners found that their dial looks really dull on this watch? Could it be the type of crystal? Maybe it's got no AR? I hold mine up against a noob 88 and it's night and day.
