Hi guys, this Pam510 is on offer on Toro, care to share your views and comments on this? Thanks! http://www.tb-688.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1302
I read that no 510, 560 is a super rep. Isn't that true?Nice watch, but i would go with the ZF version.
The ZF has the correct case, correct dial and correct crystal. The movement has also a strong power Reserve.
Only wish manufacturer make the 510 with 8 days reserve. Saw some TD website selling he 510 and claim to have minimum 6 days reserve. Can owners of 510 please confirm the actual power reserve.

Boss, absolutely correct, 6 days power reserve hand wind is bloody good stuff. No reasonably priced movement has an eight day reserve mate. The fact we now have a six day reserve in some hand wind movements is nowt short of a miracle IMHO.

Thanks for feedback.Be advised though, that even with the unheard of 6 days power reserve on the superclone, it has been observed that accuracy of timekeeping becomes worse past 2-3 days.
Hi mate, sorry tobsay but this is not true. In terms of dial layout you are right. But the lug tips are wrong and even your so called crystal sits to high in the bezel were the gen is nearly even with bezel rim. The cannon pinion is total crap. Here is my gen for comparison:Nice watch, but i would go with the ZF version.

That is true mate. Tbh, the gen doesn't seem to have any distortion at all. It is the most perfekt crystal i own in a watch.@PAMaholic yes, maybe the lugs are not right, but the 510 have the new luminor case's, which are 1mm slimmer than the older one's, like on the PAM111.
you are right, the crystal fitting is wrong, but i meant the distortion of the crystal on the KW version. The Gen and ZF don't have this distortion if you look from the side of the watch in the dial.
(KW uses this type of crystal on their 510, which is an instant tell for me)

Thanks for the advice. I'm thin so looking for a 42mm Pam. The 688 looks pretty good, what do you think?Even if you have a look on Puretime site on the video of ZF 510 you can see the second hand moving backwards when the hands are turned anti clockwise. My opinion is going with a true superrep 111, 005 or 000 and you're set.
Such statements are total bull..it imho. If you are planning getting a gen, you should always go to an AD and strap the gen on your wrist. Even our so called super reps (which the 510 isn´t) are having many small but noticeable differences against the gens (crystal height, beveling and clarity, lugs, color differences of painting on the dials...). And the special feeling wearing the real deal makes this experience totally different from buying a rep and having a look if it is "worth buying gen". Tbh, most of the people i met that said the same never went gen. Not because they won´t to, more of the circumstance of putting a good amount of cash on the table while purchasing one. I would have saved the cash on this particular 510-rep-model.I just purchased a 510 ZF. I want the gen but I will test drive the rep to see if it's something I'm ready to spend a lot of $ on. Can't wait!
