Wow! Before and after are worlds apart!

Concrete grinding?! That's a thin line between strap break-in and anger management! Jajaja I see myself cursing at the strap while grinding it!

Anyways, looks pretty bad ass! How's the overall feel?

Lexol is some good stuff, and the 569 strap came out pretty darned well!

Now on the Virgin Coconut Oil. After you rub it all in, can you still call it Virgin?:whistling:

Hmmmmm... so... would this be considered a mod of the rep strap? So that it'll add up value on a resale? Or at least retain original value?

It does not matter one way or the other. It's a rep strap at the end of the day.

Yeah, but like every mod, it changes state/value after the mod, right? A regular rep dial, gets modded to a vintage look and increases it's value, because it's precious regular rep state changed into something different. Or an aged crystal, or lumed hands, etc. it's modded state is better or more valuable than the original.

That's the beauty of modifications - to take something ordinary and turn it into extraordinary, by applying whichever techniques, tricks or trades of the craft.

Bahhh... I'm rambling now, never mind me... I think I'm just enjoying my "modded" strap too much!! And maybe one or two too many Macallan's!!
