Got it from Sead - Supermirrors.
No pics at the moment....

Dial is engraved and colors look better.
Movement plates much better but still a 3000, not a 3001.

I was lucky enough to run into a gen dial and hand set for the 422. I'll be building a Franken with a SF watch.

In the mean time I thought it would be interesting to share a good close up of the gen dial and settle some discussion of the text color. It is truly a nice creamy yellow color. With nice deep engravings.

Latest is best (but it is at most a first class rep), you can buy it from any TD.

This will be a fun one. I may end up having a custom hour wheel and cannon pinion made to accommodate the gen hands. A new level of insanity.

Looking forward to the finished product, Grim. I think I'm speaking on behalf of a lot of people who don't have such resources, much less bravery, to attempt such a thing!

Wow, where you got the gen dial? I wonder the price on the gen dial and heands set, probably higher than the whole 422 rep watch

So far the PAM422 I've seen still has the plexi glass not the sapphire crystal on the gen. Movement wise the best would be the SF version as it has the P.3001 clone movement, non-working power reserve gauge aside.

I have the 422 with a saphhire crystal. Beautiful watch but man, it looks yuuge on the wrist. And this is coming from someone who mostly wears 47mm PAM subs.

But compared to 47mm subs, the hybrid case of the PAM422 is thinner and hugs the wrist closer.
