johnlogan , Do you remember models with the same serial numbers throughout the entire batch? Or do you mean that they are "random" in font thickness? This is what I meant, that on the current issue there are thin "N" and annual limit numbers.

Kot it’s different serial number on the new batch. It’s always a quality sign.

johnlogan , I realized. I just haven't seen modern pams with the same serial numbers. However, I liked it when some noob models, like my 299, had year numbers, correctly matching absolute BB serials. But no vsf or v6f ever had this match...

(Edit: I didn’t mean a little something, it wasn’t important)

Sorry to go back to the topic of "random" serial numbers.

I have already said that I did not think that the numbers could be the same, I thought the situation from the pam127 E1117 series remained in the past, so I didn't even see a topic for searching and considering in this . But I've seen about 10 different noob 390s, and they are all either 0008 or 1555. Did anyone come across others?

XF PAM005 have 5 x different serial numbers so far. But you are correct about NOOB PAM390 only 2 x serials so far. Hopefully more will pop up when QCs come in.

Wow.. it is going back classic. I love it because I have been missing my old H fac 390.
As far as I know, H-fac 390 had better hands than Noob 390 because the old Noob 390 had a bit rosegold hands. And KW 390 had a better caseback engraving than Noob390. So hybrid 390 (Noob base + H fac hands+KW caseback) was definitely good to go (I remember a few RWI members did it)
I have checked pics of the new Noob 390 then I cannot see any rosegold hands for this time and slightly improved caseback. I am going to order it tonight.

Nope. DSN had the best hands for the PAM390. I actually got a pair or two from him ages ago but just did not have the time to have the work done.

Still, the dial print is off...... the “A” is incorrect font. The old one is correct so goodness knows why this new one is wrong?????

Well 2 possibilities, Noob changed dial suppliers as the old one does not exist anymore, or the old supplier lost the original design; in both cases resulting to a new (but flawed) dial design to be used.

Ordered it too, looking forward to receiving QC pics. The "A" flaw doesn't bother me tbh and it is the only 44mm rep afaik that has golden hands / accents, I bet it will pair up nicely with a "74" style strap. PAM127 is sadly too big for my wrists.

Do you know if he still sells them? I will probably send him an email

What a banger. In the times of Rolex hype, thank you for putting out good old Pams that we fans have been missing for years. When was the last time a good 390 was available?
I reckon it was around 2014?
I'm excited to see what XF and Noob have for us to come in the future.

Hard decision, any help?
