IMHO, if you are patient, modded 390s occasionally show up in the M2M sales section. I've seen a couple modded by Strodda or Bozz and they far exceed factory fresh "best versions." Good luck with the hunt and congratulations on your first post. The Pam 390 is one of my favorites!

Noob restructured, merged, and changed business strategy. Nowadays there are a few factories that equal or surpass the quality achieved by Noob in past releases.

Ale's guide on pam390 is outdated (end of 2014). Is any factory (H or KW) on par with noob's v3 case in current PAM390?
Ok, found the answer about luminor cases, it's Ale's comment of 2016 end:
New H maker has more correct lug shape, much better finish and CG but the edges (case and bezel) are really sharper than gen, that produces a strong gen-like appearance but it is inaccurate
New KW has correct lug shape and the case is more accurate, CG is also better. But the lug holes remain a bit higher on placement and the bezel has a bit sharper edges
Noob is making a new V4 case but they are using V3 and V4 parts mixed. We cannot assure the version we will receive. If you are lucky and receive a complete V4, that will be the best option... but this is almost impossible at this moment. And that occurs even with the new P-series. Indeed Noob is commercialising a "false V4" with usually P-series, fitting V3 caseset and just using a Y shaped rep Incabloc.
That's a comment on the KW vs H-Maker vs Noob case sets. Be aware that the PAM390 may be using the V3 Noob case set at the latest. Haven't seen any V4 case being used on the PAM390 (well, apart from swapping cases aftermarket). Obviously, the PAM390 doesn't need the Y-shaped incabloc as it is a closed caseback model (and using the incabloc would increase the price unnecessarily).

Noob is pretty much out of stock everywhere. What you can get today is eighter H-Fac or KW. My personal preference is H-Fac.

Both intime and chazingtime have the noob 390's listed on their site still. They're pretty good about labeling the products 'out of stock' when they are. Granted, I haven't contacted them to confirm
Whatever is listed on any TDs site, take it with a grain of salt. The watches are normally not in the dealers' offices. They still have to get them from the factory after payment. Now the Noob PAM390s may be a special situation and may have been bought by some dealers during the great Noob sale knowing what a deal these watches were. But there is no knowing until you can confirm from the dealers themselves, straight from the horses' mouth as they say.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I've been searching but can't find much on the 390's. Mostly old stuff.
Besides the case/cg, are there differences in the dial and hands between h-fac, KW, and noob?
As far as I can tell, only the case set is the major difference between the factories. Dial and hands are about the same.
