PAM359 N V6F 1:1 Best Edition, would you consider it as a super rep?

Hi everyone,
Today there was released PAM359 N V6F 1:1 Best Edition. I really like this watch and I have read Ale's PAM guide.

now there is a new version on PT from today. would you consider it as a better version? http://www.pure-time.com/product/pam359-n-v6f-11-best-edition-on-black-leather-strap-p9000/

I can't open KW's link but KW's watch is basically the same as V6F. The pictures on KW's website might be of an older version, plus the one on Puretime's website is the A7750 and the one on KW's website could be the Seagull and thus the differences...

the KW version here is also 7750 movement. they have also saegull version but the one in the link is 7750.

I can't open the KW link either, anyway if they are both 7750 most likely the pic on KW website is of v1 and the one on Puretime's is of v3. The main difference is the inverted balance cock in v3, which resembles the gen more.

The watch is the same as previously introduced by KW with the same movement

Anyway, without a true Clone movement, following our current evaluation criteria, we will not get a Super rep of a PAM fitted with a Manifattura movement, wathever is the quality of the rep.
If you don't mind the accuracy of the back, this rep will be a true Super rep for you

thank you for the information. i love this watch. don't mind the back of it. it will be my first PAM
already ordered about a week ago - it was the v1. now the v2 is out so i will see if it is possible to change the order.
will post some pics once I get it

I think the more "accurate" rep of the 359 in terms of the movement would be to go with the Seagull movement where the balance wheel is @ 6 which is closer to the gen.

And that being said, the ones on kw's site both show the balance wheel near 11 as does puretime. So where is this seagull 359 with the balance wheel @6 plz?

Those ones already came and gone. The current crop of PAM359 reps are termed the V3. The ones that used the Seagull ST2555 (where the balance wheel was at 6) were V2. It would be best to ask the TDs, I ordered the V2 from Kuvarsit just as the V3 was being announced. Who knows, the TDs might still have old stock of the V2s remaining.

In terms of reliability, If you are given the option of a Seagull movement, I would recommend to stay away from those decorated A7750 clones. No doubt.

That's what I hear, I'll send some emails to some TDs and see if a v2 seagull is available. I really appreciate it, definitely helped see through the mud.

I believe it is readily available. As a matter of fact - there was a thread recently started by Carlton who ordered a 359 with ST2555 and it came with a new version of the ST movement that was inverted. Below is a picture of the original St2555 with BW at 6.

and here is a picture of the movement that Carlton received (See how the movement is inverted and the balance cock is now on the left hand side - this is even closer to gen):

Actually, I saw that thread in my searches which led me to this one... trying to find out the differences. So what exactly am I asking for, I want the same watch Carlton got. A kw359-v2 with new seagull movement, balance at 6?

Tell your dealer that you want the KW 359 with the newly updated and inverted st2555 in it. Most of the dealers will know exactly what you are looking for and if all else fails, send them the two pics above indicating what you want.
