I'm curious as to what they'll do to the movement. This should be good since Angus was asking us specifically about that. I hope they're don't screw up too badly
It is a sausage dial, I can't comment if it should have a roller ball or not - the experts that have chimed in so far say that it should (on this series).
The dial looks very good actually. They finally managed to get the date window size/shape/placement correct. Let's wait and see what the dw font looks like.
But, two words scare me.... "modified" and "7750"

Nah, I wouldn't worry about that because I'm pretty sure they mean 12 and 6 subdial stems removed. That's basically all they need to do apart from the movement plates that need to be made to look like the real thing
Exactly my thoughts. Why do we have the Asian 7753 ... and then "could not get Superlouminova"... come on.

Dial looks good, hopefully they use Superluminova again/ hopefully the lume will last. The I wonder what kind of modifications the 7750 needed?
Angus already mentioned, no superluminova. And for the nineteenth time, other than removing the 12 and 6 subdials NOTHING ELSE. As far as aesthetics I have no clue but they better do a good job

For the record, I don't think any out of the box rep comes with real Superluminova. It's not that it's so hard to source, it's just that it's way too expensive compared to other luminous products. Plus if you've seen what real superluminova looks like there is no doubt.

In the flesh or on pics?
If on pics, it's very easy to overcharge the lume with a UV lamp. And if the crystal has no AR or AR removed, the effect will be even more impressive.
If in the flesh, I've seen Boudart's gen 177, and you can see a slight glow even in broad day light. It's pretty amazing, really, and for sure I've never seen a rep - even a relumed one - with a lume that good.
