Don't set the date between 10h and 4h when the watch is running. If you even have to do it, set the time before 10h or after 4h before setting date.

don't be afraid of this watch, i have mine since almost 2 years i think, maybe less and it had been my daily beater (almost) and it goes strong!

i wind it using the crown, set the date ect.. and it still perfect!

Just be careful about the time when you change the date, as stated, and don't wind it like an angry man and this watch will last you for years!!

NOT AT ALL you will do to work unnecessarily the stem and you will take the risk of broking it

You should change date with the crown position of manual change of date

Just be careful the time is not adjusted between about 9hrs and 3 hrs. This is good for all watches gen and reps. Adjust the time for example to 6,30 and the adjust the date one day before, then adjust the time (bear in mind AM and PM) and the correct date

The reason is very simple:
About 9 hrs PM the automatic devices of date change start working, and they leave the working about 3 AM.
It is no good to mix the automatic function with the manual setting, because you could damage the devices of date change.

Until I get the 243, I thought the 029 was the best Pam replica. From the time I got the 243, my 029 is collecting dust in the drawer.
This watch is AMAZING!!!

Got the Pam 243 from Toro, waiting for QC pics. Total noob question so forgive me but what should I look for in QC pics? Can I show QC pics to anyone?

Edit: I know I can't post them publicly. If anyone would volunteer to help a newbie into his first purchase in this hobby, it'd be much appreciated.

Ping me pics (PM) if you'd like second opinion - can compare to mine which is spot on
