Hey guys,

looking at Pam's at the moment and I realize the pam243 stands out to me. It had this rugged look and feel to it which is different than most Pam's. Been trying to find reviews of it in terms of the differences to the gen but I'm not finding much. You guys know anything about it? Read about some circular prints at the second area on ale's guide but overall it seems decent as it is a super rep. Well let me know what you guys think of it and how it wears on the wrist! Pics are welcomed, thanks!! :nana:

From what I see, those who have it love it and don´t want anything else. Had to pass on that because I already had an older submersible model the 193 and imo one submersible is enough.

It's not even fair how accurate this watch is. Even the bezel click mechanism is gen construction. The only obvious tell on this watch is the CG. Even then, we are speaking of minuscule differences in shape. Get the noob version. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love mine - you need to really know what you're looking for to find a" tell" in this watch

I think they're actually gen and just sold as reps because they made too many. ;)

Not sure "always" is accurate. I am careful with mine so for example I rarely/never wind it up - just put it on the wrist and let it wind itself up. Also, with changing the date, just take care and not make movements too hard. It's not a chrono so has better reputation than others.

Do yuo know what is the difference between Noob V2 and V3, other than 10$ in price? And also in some pics indexies look green and others tan. Is it just lightning (lume charged) or is there differend kind of dials around?

My A7750 (seconds at 9) movements are just as accurate as my serviced Swiss 6497 movements. I think they are great! Its the seconds at 12 or central seconds chronos that start to be more touchy.

yeah in terms of the A7750 movements as long as u take care of it and avoid the changing the date etc...its a great movement. just treat the watch with care like how u would with a gen and it should last u a while!

To be purist there is no V3 version. Dealers call V3 the new batches of V2 released after the "cancelled" production.
IMO there are no improvements (maybe little things), even many people were able to see worsening... LOL

See below info extracted from PAM GUIDE:

October 2013- Noob releases another bacth . It seems there are no improvements but an increase of 60$ in price. No better or wider polished edge on bezel and the rest all the same. Some dealers called this batch Noob V3. But no reasons in my opinion because the rep watch is the same as previous versions. Some units even seem having worse CG chamfered edges and more crocked bezel markers. Maybe just a bit more sloppy Quality Control.
At this regard there is a very interesting comparison through microscopical pics by zocker4711 of V2 and so-called "V3", where is clearly shoved they are the same. Maybe seconds subdial @9 has more fine (microscopical) concentric circles and are more covered with the paint, but this would not be a great improvement since V2 well painted doesn’t show circles under naked eye.

Therefore there are PAM 243 Noob V2 before October 2013 and after October 2013 (bad called "V3")
By these pics we can also realize the awesome quality of these Noob watches I think Noob will release sold batches of this watch in the future, because people are buying all production regardless price.

Thanks :)

So v2 it will be. I would have already bought one from Sead (EU stock), but it was just gone when I asked.
