I received my 1392 V6F with Asia 7750 movement and want to share a few live pics, as I couldn't find any on this forum when the watch first caught my eye.

Overall I am very happy. This is my 1st rep and having tried the gen at an AD, I honestly can't tell the difference in the feel or fit and finish.
I do have two issues. The hands have smudge marks and should have been wiped clean at the factory before installing, and the rotor makes as noise when you shake it to make it rotate many times. Not sure if this is normal.
I might try to take some better pics if you guys are interested.

Congrats on your 1st rep. It's not the latest with the longer, thinner lugs but the watch is well made. I'm sure you will do better research in the future for your next rep.

As for the smudged hands, didn't you catch them in the QC photos? it also depends how you caught the smudges, was the watch near your face or at the normal arm's length distance (if it were seen here, you should have caught it in the QCs). If you're not familiar with the rotor, then the sound may be normal. You normally don't shake the watch to make it turn, it's designed to rotate when you are just going about your daily routine and winds the watch. If it's really noticeable, then you might want to get the rotor greased by a rep-friendly watchmaker. :)

Hmmm interesting. I thought the V6F was the version with the correct lugs and it was the ZF that were short and stubby. I must say from looking at the watch it seems to match the correct proportions, do you think it could just be the angle the photos were taken?

Also the issue with the smudges is minor, only noticeable is I am looking closely and trying to reflect light off the hands.

I think @mysterio has a point. The lugs look too stubby for a V6F. I just had a look at my V6F at the same angles and the lugs look less beaky than yours.

Actually, it's not the factory, it's the timing. V6F changed the case on their PAM1392 (to the correct one) at the same time they changed the movement (to an incorrect one).

Here is the V6F PAM1392 with A7750 on Andrew's website from Sept. 2016:

Here's the V6F PAM1392 with ST2555 on Andrew's website again but this time Dec. 2016:

It's great that the factory can make such quick adjustments on something as significant as the case but also frustrating to note that they would change something that was already correct to an inaccurate one.

So if I understand correctly you can either get the 7750 movement which has wrong lugs but correct balance wheel position @11, or the 23j movement with correct lugs and wrong balance wheel? I brought mine from trustytime, and your right, the pics on site show different lugs on both V6F versions. The ZF has shorter lugs still.
On a slightly different note, puretime adverstise the V6F 23j as 15.5mm thick. @pechspils do you know how thick yours is? My handy 2 in 1 pen & caliper tool shows it as 17mm

It can vary. Intime shows the ZF with the correct case and the correct movement.

@noobfreak unfortunately, my watch list spreadsheet (too many watches...) showed the wrong maker. Closer inspection revealed that not only it‘s a long lugged ZF 7750, it‘s a 1359 instead of a 1392 as well (same case but different dial optics).

Awesome. Just picked up at PAM048 from V6F. Was tempted to go for the 1392 but the closed caseback was the deciding factor. Be a bit of a dead giveaway with the open right?

noobfreak How is the reliability of your Pam 1392 V6F, now 2 years have passed? I just ordered one. Hope it now has the correct lug size. I decided to order the 1392 V6F, not the ZF-version because the hands of the V6F are more like the Gen.

Here the info about the different lugs that you'll see on the 1392 reps. Something to keep in mind if you want a near 1:1.

Being that a long time has passed from the release of this watch (almost 3 years), both ZF and V6F versions have the correct lug design. As for the hands, can't say which one is closer to gen unless you have the actual on stock watches pictured but the difference is negligible, even in that zoomed in picture which most people would never see since your watch is normally at arms' length, not almost to your face.

Thanks for the response Mysterio. This will most likely be my first rep.

mysterio I hope the V6F version has the correct lug design now. On the websites of all TD's they show the wrong lugs. But perhaps they didn't update their images. In this case this would be good news.

As for the hands, I have a gen Pan, I think the difference is small but visible. As they say, what has been seen cannot be unseen ;-)
