Ok Pam127 passed customs will be arriving soon.
Gonna see how it looks and fits with the rep strap on my girlie wrist first b4 I order the strap.

But I think I have it narrowed down to either the Simona Alchemist or a Manifatture Serioso, both which will run me give or take $200.

Per this post here, the Manifatture Serioso is just superior to the Wotancraft and looks great:

I had an Alchemist with grey stitching on mine and it makes a huge difference over the rep. Another option is a strap from Corriga, Kain, Heroic18 or Linvitta Legione

So did you ask your dealer about the "problems"? They look like they can be removed by wiping the watch. As for the face shifted towards the left, did you try, I don't know, rotating the image? One degree can make a whole world of difference.

This is an awesome thread. There are some good resources in here like the links to the straps. Ordered the promotional fiddy from TT and waiting on qc pics now. Would love to get a strap or two in progress while I wait. Can’t wait.

So I have a cheap 127 with many features that just aren't accurate. It was one ofy first reps and I absolutely love it. It's the watch that introduced me to Panerai. But everytime I wear it, all I can do is focus on the features that are not accurate. The fact that I have one is what prevented me from buying a new one. Despite the fact that I really couldn't enjoy it. I was placing an order for another watch and I got the email about the TT special for the noob and I was all over it. Not to mention they have a discount code for multiple watches so I ordered it and I'm so glad that I did. I am so excited for it to get here, especially that I just got the QC pics.

How much should I wind it? And can you over wind it? I ask because after turning the stem a few times, it feels like it gets tighter or sort of spins back but that could be in my head. Thanks.

As much as it can be wound. If the crown spins back then it's fully wound. How long until the watch stops?

I think it’s about a day. 24 to 30 hours but I’m not sure. I’ve only had it a week and haven’t been playing real close attention to how much and how often I wound it. It’s noon here and I just wound it fully, We’re on the clock.
