PAM127 not XF!

I’ve just received QC pics this morning for a PAM127 that is supposed to be from XF factory.
It’s a Frankenstein Pam 127 with a different mid case and wrong crown guard as the CG engraving has been done on the wrong side…..I rejected this watch straight away.

Really disappointed with Puretime for even attempting to sell this garbage to me.

Yeah, that's a shame because otherwise the watch looks great... Perhaps XF have improved their CG engraving but as usual one step forward, two steps backwards.

If you look closely, there are engravings on the inner lugs. They have used the wrong case…

Yes, I saw that but those could easily be shaved off... The actual shape of the case and rounded lug edges look good compared to the SHARP lugs of the previous XF.

Those are old SF factory parts including infamous crown guard.

I've asked if they could please re-ask the factory for another one......

Yes, you’re 100% correct. I’ve looked on Trusty’s site and they have supplied the HWF version.
It’s just disappointing from Puretime, as their initial attitude was to just choose something else.
I’m insisting that they find the XF version as this is what I paid for..

Puretime have now sourced the correct factory version and sent QC pics this morning which I approved.

Posting this here because I want to insure that the same scenario above is not happening to me. I ordered an XF PAM127 watch and was due QC pics yesterday. Reached out and was told there were raids and that TD did not have watch in hand. Magically, VERY early this morning these QC pics showed up. Not sure about this. What say you all?

I didn't want to flame him earlier with out more intel. This watch is from Trusty. It is my second order from him. I was happy with the first. I'm still a relative noob in the hobby. I'm working to learn more but I knew that this didn't pass the smell test. Can you help point out the BS in this watch so I can better reference my RL?

Wide T. M. on crown guard. Those are old crown guards that SF used 5-6 years ago.

Update. I RLd the watch and called them out on their franken SF parts. Andrew/ Trusty states "It is not a franken watch. The stock is direct from XF factory. SF factory is no longer around.

We can reject this watch, but new piece from XF may take a long time."

Reaffirms that this watch was not XF.
I said he can send me what I paid. What would you do?
