It seems that the new factory, having made several controversial models, swung at a very odd model. Let the photos speak.

So far, in my opinion:
- I do not see the effect of sun brust, it seems this is an ordinary matte dial.
- The sausage look thicker and whiter. As I managed to clarify, gen has it recessed, like 005.
(Although it might be worth taking a closer look at the rep for that)
- Caseback engravings look not neat.
- It seems we have gen owners and they can help us, but it seems like the CG gen lever doesn't have a roller?
- And of course, with 6497 we will not get the correct thickness, as for p.6000.

I guess incablock doesn't matter because gen uses a different movt. But I completely share the general emotions ...

The peculiarity of the 1085 is the dial color/sunburst which apparently is missing. Releasing a rep in 2021 just for the sake of having another new reference released is better not to be done. Speaking of 1st attampts and so on makes no sense as well. Big disappointment, better they haven’t done it.

It seems that Trusty still has a chance to put the price at $ 120 and sell it to everyone who wants to indulge with a strange 005, which for some reason has a blue dial, and the HW factory will take another month to get the gen, and make a normal dial.
Considering how good and expected this model is, I'm sure it would be a hit with the right dial.
Given that the noob makes blunders, this would be the best time for a new factory to make its mark.
It doesn't have to be perfect, 911 is also bought and this one will be bought, just give a dial with rays and adequate lume number fonts and the factory will have a chance to establish itself as a pam manufacturer.

We know that this version has a lot of flaws but maybe this is a perfect excuse to post pics of the gen... You know? To compare.


On a side note, I've been having anxiety when I open rwi lately. I'm afraid to open the Panerai subforums because I'm afraid there's going to be a new release announced that I have to buy. Whew.

Photo, probably an HWF model.
In fact, unlike TRUSTY photos and videos, the sunbrust effect is clearly visible here.
Perhaps they changed it, I have no confirmation, but there is a photo.

How's it look? I can't watch it. I could never get yoku to work between the slow load time and the fact that I can't read Chinese doesn't help any.
