how about moving the regulator pin all the way. You could conceivable get 2 minutes difference that way.

Hi If you see Kay, thank you for your suggestion.

However, I am completely new to this. Exactly, what is a regulator pin and how do I move it? Do you mean the manual wind it all the way?

Roonaj, I am indeed considering to send my PAM104 to a watch smith, if the problem persist.

Pecman, hello! Interesting comment... you actually prefer the rep over the gen? Care to elaborate more? :D:

rfy5312, sorry, I don't have a gen PAM104. I can't help you on this one.

see the pin pointing to the + and minus gradations with the I I I I I I in between?
Slide it to the - side to slow it down, and to the + side to speed it up. 2 minutes per day could mean you might have to slide it all the way. Use a needle to slide it. It might be a bit tight, but it'll move.

Thank you. My only issue now is opening the case and meddling with it. I will need to invest in some proper tools first.

Will, I have the time grapher, and my PAM case back opener ordered 2 months yet arrived.

When I got it, I can help you regulate it. No need buy the timer for 1 watch, it is quite costly.

Btw, Nelson from KL, I met him once a while where he just converted from Rollie to Pam bug after I passed mine to him recently..

Just got my PAM104 rep from Sead, and I can confirm as a gen owner of the watch that the rep is easily bordering on super-rep status.

My CG was loose also, must be a factory thing, haha. Other than that so far the time is running on target, but we'll see after a few days if the +2 minutes thing shows up.

In comparing the gen to the rep side by side the only things that are noticeably off are the thickness of the white "PANERAI LUMINOR" lettering (bit bolder/thicker on the rep), and the edge of the cyclops having a ring around it (not an actual ring, but a visible edge on the crystal which the gen doesn't have, it's more seamless).

Other than that, and a few spacing/font things on the caseback it's really impressive. Funny enough the lume is actually better on the rep, go figure.

Put both of them on a gram scale and they came back at 124.5 and 124.0, which amazes me, on the wrist they feel absolutely identical.

Very impressed!

Mako88, thank you very much for your review of rep vs. gen. Also, natural if I were to ask for some pictures. :)

Besides loose CG, what do you think about space gap of the lever and the CG near lever pin area?

For me main two areas to be worked on is definitely the CG and the cyclops.

Do you think the date view on the cyclop is accurate? Don't you find the AR really bad or non-existent on the cyclop?

Yes, good lume when compared with my gen 380 too. Maybe too good. LOL
