lol, i think some(many) of the watch gurus here should be hired by the rep/gen factory as quality inspector, and this is a complement for their "eagle" eyes lol...can i get some help approving the QC as I am getting few reps and i need all the help i can get thx

Guys, seriously? If we consider this a "flaw", 99% of other reps aren't even watches... Holy shit!
We are here to detect the differences (although little ones) in order to inform buyers, dealers and even makers.
Also we are indicating and registering differences to can identify the reps and the version in the future
I'm receiving every day pics of watches asking for identification, rep or gen and rep version. Do you know another good system to get the identification aside knowing the differences ??
To consider the differences as a flaw or not depend just on you.

The dial has a grain to it if you look at this photo taken on my usb microscope but it is a fine grain

Based on the photos earlier I would say the finish on the rep dial appears to be a coarser grained than gen

However, I guess, under the "eye" of an "USB microscope", we all will get eventually surprised to find such subtile differences between two GENs units, too.

I think it's a super rep! I have gen and I am v impressed. Ok there are small imperfections ie crown guard corners are slightly too sharp and the dial is just a touch more textured etc but from photos on the wrist I think as others have said "its the bomb!!"

Grainy or not - I ordered mine
its weird some pic's dial is so grainy and some you can hardly tell. Congrats anyway, wear it well !
