I would like to pull a trigger on DLC PAM
Which one do you guys think better? 005K DLC vs 111N DLC ?
Anyone has both reps and willing to post some pics would be very appreciated

Picked up a DLC 005 and I just love the logo. Here it is on my new K-Straps Elephant. Still kicking the idea of dropping a noob 111 dial and movement inside

I know a guy that has several gen Panerai's and had his PAM112 I model DLC coated but had to do it thru a dealer and it took almost six months. Looks totally killer though!!

Ale, these are not available from any boutique but I've seen gens undergo this type of DLC treatment (so far I've seen the 000, 112, 318 and 390). I forgot the term used for these watches but they are not fantasy watches.

You can coat a gen PAM112 in yellow and then it will be a fantasy watch

One question that I have is the PAM 005K DLC, is it also considered as Fantasy watch? Does DLC watches look better with double AR or single AR?

Is there anyone can post a sandwich dial DLC here?
Is such model exists?

Using that definition, ALE, the PAM237H, 301K and the 57D, for example, would be fantasy watches as they have not appeared in the OP catalog. Of course, we know they are not.

PVD/DLC'ed PAMs are, in my view, more of a bespoke nature rather than fantasy. It has been done not once but numerous times to various gen PAMs, and have gained acceptance among most 'Risti.

A yellow PAM112 might be one of the fugliest PAMs I would ever care to lay my eyes on, and hopefully stays a fantasy model. :lol:

DLC cases you can get from some dealers like hont or in the sales section. You can also get DLCed PAM005, PAM318, PAM000, PAM390 and boutique editions from hont, you may need to confirm with your favorite TD. From time to time you also see DLCed watches done by Avitt in the watch sales threads.
