thanks for your help guys. I was begining to get worried that no one was going to reply...

Actually my exact plan was to get the spring bars from river to use with straps so I can change them out quickly. And I did find a thread that said they could not be used with the bracelet which really sucks, I hope they comeout with ones that work...

There is no way for me to get the other screw out though. I even talked to Ziggy and he said he would not be able to re-tap it that I would have to send it back. I agree, Ruby would not have caught this but other than that the watch is very good. I'm just disappointed to have such issues on such a nicely built watch...

So you guys think they will just re-tap it? Wouldn't that effectively make the diameter larger?

Also the loose end link is not because of a small wrist problem (although I do not have the biggest in the world) because when I take it off th wrist one moves the other doesn't. However, through my experience now and hkc45a was right on the money, there are two tabs on the other side so I think by bending the other one would fix this problem and make it tighter...
I'm a bit worried to be honest though because Ruby asked me to email her pics of the problem... I did take pics of the broken screws but wouldnt describing what happened be enough?

ziggy doesn't know how to drill out a broken screw and re tap it? hmmmm....

if you remove the broken part of the screw and run the correct size tap through it and clean the threads, you are not enlarging the hole, just cleaning it up.

oh well, just send it back to ruby and let her take it to the factory and get it fixed.

I guess... I emailed him the exact problem I was having in detail and he said that it is best to send it back to the dealer. I just hope she will take care of me because I never really had a problem with her before.
Any, idea though how long this could take? I have a wedding to go to begging of September and was really hoping to wear the watch.

BTW, is one lug hole supposed to be larger then the other. It seems that one is small and the one righ ton the other side is larger. Is that so the screw will fit into one and stop at the other?

the watched has been successfully shipped back to Ruby and she has already received it...

She said the factory does not know how to fix the problem because I broke it with my hands?!!!
Ruby said she will talk to the factory. I'm getting a bit nervous here.

Seems like all the dealers (over time) have had issues with stripped braclet screws....had a couple myself from different dealers....had a broken screw also...direct from dealer.....never touched it my self

had a broken screw on PAM 005...lucky to get braclelt off then backed out broken end with drill press...real careful like....

am going to get the spring bars (a couple of sets0 but was also wondering about thickness of barrel fitting the end link....will check end link and if enough meat I will try and enlarge end link tube to accpet spring bars

never though too much about all the little screws in the bracelet until I looked down and found a big gapping hole in bracelet where section fell out....lucky for me the piece was on the floor of the car and I was able to scavenge a screw from another link to put back on....while inspecting bracelet I also noted a number of mising screws....ouch.....these little suckers are so small you cant see them on the floor .....got new center polished braclet from Joshua and loctited every screw...took some time but I am not going through that again.

as I said before, my watchmaker took care of it, somehow he got the screw out, threat was damaged and he measured the threat and put a new one on it....

Also, I am inspecting all screws now when I get a new PAM, most of the time little swarfs are on the screws and this is how you damage the threat, just clean the screws....
