Pam 605 ZF Factory Thoughts

The PAM605 from ZF has got the new P3000 superclone movement with a power reserve of a wopping 50+ hours ... mine has got nearly 60 hours and runs COSC-like.
I had the chance to see some gen 605 3 months ago during a GTG ... the ZF rep is very close to it, every 605 (gen or rep) will appear different in changed lights and angles. The watch can handle different straps, the stock-strap is of nice quality but additional straps will always give a different looks; works well with vintage leather in tan or brown but can also handle a croc-leather in brown or grey.

There you have it, the watch is stunning and gives you a lot of opportunities ... go get it!

I've got the KW version. The dial is lighter indeed. But I'm not getting tired telling everyone that I even like it more than the closer to gen ZF dial. :smile: And for 208 USD on intime this is a steal.

So KW is much more greyish than the rather brownish ZF. And that actually was the reason why I wanted this. The movement is not important to me as it's anyway not visible when wearing the watch.

Moreover everyone who really knows how few of these watches were built for the Firenze boutique, will instantly think this watch is a rep also if the face was 100% as per gen. But most folk won't be able to tell even with the dial color that is way off.

Sorryto disagree Sir, IMHO the above sentence is not correct, I think you are "guessing/supposing" too much. Why "someone" from somewhere else, not only near Firenze, can have one of these???
Even , here, at RWI, we have some examples of members owning a Firenze Boutique edition. Some of them also own the rep, and writed some "very-informative" side by side comparisons.

Sounds like an auto-convincing sentence made for yourself, to ignore that ZF is superior this time than KW.

If you like more KW greyish tone, then OK. It's you, the one that has to wear it happy
And if you are happy, we all are happy.

P.S. At the end, the biggest "tell" of any GOOD rep , not a crap one, is the "attitude"and "confidence" when wearing it ;-)

The KW version of this watch and of the 372 as well has terrible yellow paint used for the LUMINOR PANERAI letters. I now have a Noob 372 and it's much much much more like gen. I believe it's the same with this one by looking at the pics. ZF looks much better. Clearly a winner.

I went with the KW as I like the lighter face. This is my 1st 47mm PAM and it is in my opinion pushing the limit for my 6.6 inch wrist

No problems so far. But yes it's obvious that plexi is far more sensitve than sapphire. On the other hand there are ways to polish slight scratches out of the plexi.

I've got 6,7 inch wrists, too and yes, 47mm is a lot but still I like it. Not with a suit but for casual looks this is okay.

love the dial.... and the plexy is very easy to polish with paste or ultrafine sandpaper (3 microns 2 microns and 1 micron 3m polishing papers are amazing...)

I really envy you guys with big wrist. Love the 605 to bits but there is NO chance in hell it will fit on my 6.25" wrist [emoji24]
