Unfortunately I've experienced the same problem with my PAM441 KW SEAGULL ST2555. Nothing you can really do in that case except to avoid the said models. To resend it would be to much of a risk.

I would suggest to mention this problem in the PAM Bible to advise all members.

Best regards,

Hi Cuore, thanks for the info. As i do not know, how to make it really visible in the bible (and i believe, this IS an issue), i wrote to ALE asking him, to do so. J.

My LW Spidotech with ST2555 has the same issue. Seconds hand does stop and jump... I replaced it with a new ST2555, ordered from dajiwatch, which does not show this problem.

Hi Strodda, is it possible to swap the ST movement by a A7750 in this PAM? I have one new ST on the way, but the watch looks great, if it is possible, i would rather go for a more reliable option. Thx.

When you get it, if it runs well, then keep it as is. Once I had a 2555 powered 571. But it was an accident, as the previous owner thought it was a 7750. Either way, it ran well for the short time I had it.

At one point I was trying to swap a 7750 into a seagull PAM... it was a long time ago, so I don't remember what problem/s I had, but my attempt was unsuccessful.

I guess...Hands/needles could be one of those problems?

+1 for adding note about stutter to PAM guide.
I went for "lite" 389 for my first rep from TD (23j). Recommended in the guide as a great less expensive option. Watch it awesome but that little stutter possibility would have been a useful note too.

Keeps terrific time. Just would have saved lots of searching because I thought I was hallucinating.

There is lastly a polemic matter regarding stuttering second hand on Seagull. But we are buying Seagulls (myself included) from some years ago, and it is the first time we get such a claims.

I think this is a matter of luck, obviously with a 21600 bph movement you will have more possibilities of getting a stuttering hand and the necessary devices to get the second hand in a Seagull movement are more critical than in A7750. That said it is clear that you will get a stuttering hand much easier with a Seagull than with an A7750.

But usually and with a correct Seagull, to realize the stuttering is an almost impossible thing.
I had to open the caseback of my KW PAM 569 fitted with Seagull to assure it was a Seagull. It was impossible even with a loupe to see the stuttering hand

We would need more claims to include a note in PAM GUIDE which is read for many many buyers.
