VINTAGE inscription between lugs seems better than in other similar watches
Other watches either PAm 448 or PAM 449 catalogues seem very deep a with overpolished contours. Yours seem clear and crisp.
PAM000449 @12 is the same?

What is your opinion about this matter

Both my 448's case engraving @ 12 (PAM00448) and the 449 I compared looked similar to my unaided eye.

I do not have a macro of the 449 to compare (but should have in another week).

Another note... the engraving can look more crisp in strong contrasted lighting and more smooth/over polished in diffuse softer lighting. That could be the difference you are seeing in my pic.

Just realized I've had the watch now for almost 3 weeks and I haven't flipped it... that's a new record for me.
