What's with the mineral glass vs sapphire? Sounds like These Pam's with Sapphire crystals are pushing 600.00!!! The prices originally quoted on Puretimes site were for mineral glass. These reps will be difficult for me to afford at least in mass quantities I am sorry to say.

Most likely if we buy less, they will lower the price.
I'm passing on this :/

Everyone want close to gen which costs money to make the days of cheep are gone now instead of a mass collection we have select few additions I like the new rad especially with the sapphire which I think it's worth the extra cash makes a big difference in the look

movement loud ticking noise

i had the noob 292 pam but unfortunately i had to let it go since the loud ticking noise was soo disturbing. Would i face the same issue with the 424?

Well I'm waiting on this one. There are others like the 029,111 and 177 that I like and cost a lot less. Until I see a rating in the guide from ALE I'm not touching the 424.

It's a good rep from what I can see, but the price is exagerated.
Buying wisely following some of the current offers you can have 3 PAMs for the same price.

I think I have fallen out of love with this watch, Glad I didn't spend $500. Maybe latter at more reasonable price but really its not floating my boat anymore.

I love my 424. Pricey yes but it is right up there with my very favourite pams. Seeing which Pam I wear most fascinates me as it changes all the time (I have 10 at the mo'). I always thought I am a Luminor Marina guy but these days my 424 and especially the 380 are getting a lot of wrist time.

I picked up a 448 to test the waters wth a 47mm Cali dial and love it but I'm not keen on the plexi. I think after CNY I'm going to go after a 424 with sapphire.
